Purpose of This SOP

This SOP teaches how Onboarding works at Emmy Drafts — not just what to click.

By the end, an onboarding team member should understand:

• what the Onboarding Pipeline represents
• what each stage means
• what documentation must be collected and verified
• how to manage DIY and DWY onboarding paths
• how to properly assign a Project Manager
• how to hand off cleanly to Production
• how to prevent scope confusion and delays

Onboarding is responsible for:

• verifying executed engagement documents
• guiding client intake
• collecting project-specific documentation
• organizing Drive folders
• assigning a Project Manager
• preparing a clean production-ready project
